The Nintendo 3DS was announced last week at the Nintendo Conference by Nintendo of America's Regie Fils-Aime, and caused many jaw dropping reactions. This device is the next generation in the Nintendo DS hand-held line-up but it goes much further than that. The 3DS is a powerful piece of hardware that's capable of projecting 3 dimensional gaming without the use of the usual 3D glasses. Not only does it show you 3D, but it also gives the power of 3D to your very hands with the built in camera lenses that allow you to take 3 dimensional photos.
The Nintendo 3DS is a very powerful machine compared to its predecessors. The Nintendo DSi was definitely very capable, yet the 3DS takes it further. New to the 3DS that wasn't included with the Dsi is a 2GB sd card to store information, a new extending stylus, new "Home" button on the lower screen to reach the systems' main menu and the analog thumb pad for better gaming control. The 3DS also has some motion sensitivity to be used with some games. There is much more to the Nintendo 3DS than what meets the eye. Experience 3D gaming to a whole other level. The 3DS will be available on March 27th for $249.99.
